- THE STRANGE COSTUMES OF BATMAN: (Batman) Batman and Robin are doing a regular inspection of their crime-fighting equipment including specialized Bat-suits. we see a white suit used for snow, a gold suit used to look like a gold statue, a super-thin cellophane suit that was hidden in Bruce's boot heal when he went undercover in prison, a glow in the dark suit, a spacesuit, and a suit with a bird on the chest that they say is only for the worst emergency. as they battle the one-off villain for this story we see Batman use a fireproof asbestos suit, a glider wingsuit, and a scuba suit. Batman is then shot badly and needs time to recover but shows up the next day in the suit with the bird on its chest and is able to ignore the knockout gas the criminals are using. turns out the suit was built up with foam rubber to let Robin look like Batman and had a built-in respirator.
